Q: How long does Leaf Leather Last?
A: Leaf leather is an incredibly durable and tough material. It ages beautifully and softens over time. As with anything, as long as you look after your Leaf Leather products, it will last for years.
Q: How is it made?
A: Fallen leaves are gathered from sustainably harvested Teak forests. They are soaked and dyed using natural mineral dyes. The leaves are then laid out flat, overlapping and in the drying process they bond together to create a large sheet of Leaf Leather. A translucent, thin layer made from non-toxic film is applied, sealing the layer, giving it durability, longevity and
water-resistance. This is the base Leaf Leather and from here the material is cut and sewn into different products.
Q: How do I care for it?
A: Leaf Leather doesn't need any special cleaning products or conditioning. All you need to do is just give it a wipe with a soft, damp cloth to keep it looking great.
